Lots of ppl don't come here because of their history of health code violations but what the hell cockroaches gotta eat too, lol. First of all the dim sum is steamed so any bad stuff is autoclaved, so what's the problem, people smoke that's worse. This dim sum restaurant still uses the cart method of serving, when a server comes by and you spot something you want, you just flag the server and ask for what you want. All the traditional dim sum comes out on the carts in addition to some creations that I have not seen before but normally I stick with the tried and true savory items. I would keep coming back because I feel their dim sum is quite good and they still use the cart system of service.

Dim sum Sunday.... Squidlett was jonsing for hargow and shrimp balls and I of course was drooling for shumai, hargow, char su bao etc. We zipped down Sahara and got there about 10 minutes prior to opening. There was already a line formed at the door. They opened promptly and we were shown to a booth.... The cart ladies were revving up their engines so to speak and were preparing to amaze us yet again with their speed and effective stamping of the cards at our table as we filled our table with goodies We had all our regular items, they were all good, fresh and quite frankly filling. The bill was $78.00 and change after a military discount. We tipped $20% and out the door by 11:20... Pretty darn good meals always.

Solid place for dim sum. They serve it all day which is also nice. Everything was delicious, but it is a bit pricey for what you get. Each plate is about $5-$6 so it's pretty easy to rack up the bill without noticing. We came for lunch on a weekend and waited about 15 minutes to get seated. I do like that they have the authentic, cart style dim sum and everything comes out tasting fresh and hot. Would I come back? Ehh maybe with friends or family. Probably not for a casual lunch again.
